There really is no getting around the law of supply and demand.

If you artificially increase the cost of the supply, there will be less demand. In this case, that means fewer jobs for people who desperately need them in order to build the work experience they need to move up.

Week 1 update

School choice bills are opposed by every Democrat on the sub committee, as well as organizations like the Virginia Education Association (VEA).

I would like just one of the people who voted no or spoke against a local option to please explain, what exactly, would be so horrible about dollars following students, especially when many of their current schools are closed down or only partially opened.

Ron Paul is banned from Facebook for violating “community standards”.

The people who openly advocated for his son to be beaten are not banned from Facebook.

I get the feeling “standards” are not what Facebook is enforcing.

There are a lot of things companies do that frustrate me, but the benefit of their services generally outweighs the irritation of their activism.

This is not one of those times.

If Apple, Google and Amazon decide to carry on with their threats. Then just like Netflix, I’m voting with my feet and finding alternatives.

Yes these companies have a lot of power. Yes the current status of some alternatives will not be as effective or efficient yet. But by signaling to entrepreneurs and investors that we are fed up, we encourage greater competition, and that is what we need right now.
